1. Agreement to terms

By requesting a quote, booking a job or using this website, you agree to these terms and conditions and to all applicable Western Australian and Commonwealth laws. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services we provide

Hot Water System Perth provides hot water and related plumbing services across the Perth metropolitan area, including:

  • 24/7 Emergency Hot Water Repairs
  • Gas Hot Water Systems
  • Electric Hot Water Systems
  • Solar Hot Water Systems
  • Heat Pump Hot Water Systems
  • Commercial Hot Water Systems

3. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are free and provided in writing before work begins. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. A quote is based on the information available at the time and on what can be seen without dismantling the system. If additional work is uncovered once the job starts, for example corroded pipework, non-compliant existing installation or an electrical fault, we will stop, explain the issue and provide a revised price before continuing.

Indicative price ranges published on this website are guides only and are not an offer. New unit costs generally range from $500 to $7,000 depending on type, brand and capacity, with installation labour and materials quoted separately.

4. Payment

Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking. We accept cash, credit card and EFTPOS, and low-interest financing is available for larger upgrades through our finance partners subject to their approval and terms. Ownership of any supplied equipment remains with us until payment is received in full.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment. Cancellations with less notice, or where our plumber cannot access the site at the agreed time, may attract a call-out fee to cover travel and lost time. Emergency call-outs cancelled after a plumber has been dispatched may be charged at the attendance rate.

6. Site access and safety

You agree to provide safe and clear access to the hot water system, including access to water, electrical and gas isolation points. Where the unit is in a confined, unsafe or obstructed location, we may need to reschedule or quote additional work. We are not responsible for delays caused by access issues outside our control, including strata or body corporate approvals.

7. Compliance and certification

All work is performed by licensed plumbers and, where gas is involved, licensed gas fitters. Installations are completed to Western Australian requirements including AS/NZS 3500.4, and a compliance certificate is issued where required. We may decline to work on or reconnect a system that we assess as unsafe or non-compliant until the issue is rectified.

8. Warranty and guarantee

Our workmanship is guaranteed and we stand behind every job with a 100% satisfaction commitment. Equipment supplied by us carries the manufacturer's warranty, which we will help you claim. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party work, water quality issues where recommended maintenance has not been carried out, storm or flood damage, or fair wear and tear. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Hot Water System Perth is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the supply of our services, including loss of income or loss of use. Our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied. Nothing in this clause limits any guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Website content

Guides, price ranges, rebate figures and troubleshooting information on this website are general in nature and do not replace an on-site assessment by a licensed plumber. Rebate amounts and eligibility rules change over time and are set by the relevant authority, not by us. All content, text, graphics and logos on this site remain the property of Hot Water System Perth and are protected by copyright.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. The terms in force at the date of your booking apply to that job.
